Daniel Günther has spent his entire career in the banking sector, gaining experience in managing bank and country risks, structuring US Public Finance issues, and Wealth Management. Most recently, he spent 19 years at LGT Bank as a Managing Director – initially at its headquarters in Liechtenstein and, from 2009 to 2025, in Switzerland. In this role, he primarily served clients domiciled in Switzerland, Spain, and South Africa.
He acquired the necessary qualifications for this position at the University of St. Gallen, where he earned a Master’s degree in International Relations. He then worked as a research assistant at Swiss Federal Institute (ETH Zurich) and completed various professional development courses (including at the Swiss Banking School).
In his free time, he enjoys motorcycle trips and sports to keep the side effects of his penchant for fine dining in check.
