The transitional period for the licensing of wealth managers and trustees expires at the end of 2022. By the end of 2022, wealth managers will be required to obtain their own FINMA licence, join a supervisory organisation or otherwise affiliate themselves with an organisation to comply with the new financial market regulations. According to published figures from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA, only about one third of wealth managers have submitted the necessary application so far.

As a partner of Reuss Private, you will have full access to our infrastructure and, with our FINMA licence as an investment firm, you can continue to serve your clients conveniently without having to incur the additional administrative expense caused by the FinSA and FinIA.

We also provide contracts and IT infrastructure that facilitate state-of-the-art and compliant business practices with a high level of security. We handle functions such as risk management and compliance directly. We also take care of anti-money laundering and client monitoring, including sanctions screening. In addition, we offer solutions for (salary) accounting and commission calculations. A part of the wealth management fee is paid out to the Reuss Group for this purpose.

As an independent partner

We assist you with registration in the register of advisors. You will be affiliated to Reuss Private AG and will be granted access to our entire operational infrastructure, our contract system and state-of-the-art IT systems, which will allow you to continue to present your clients with your own look and feel when managing their individual assets.

Owing to a cross-border network with specialists in the fields of financial market regulation and capital market law in Germany and Liechtenstein, we can also assist you in your cross-border business. This makes it possible for you to actively support clients or enter the EU market.
