Roberto Battegay is independent Member of the Board of Directors. For more than 30 years he acted as Senior Legal Counsel of UBS in different leading positions in Switzerland and internationally. After his retirement at UBS in 2018 he joined the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA), the major industry organization of the Swiss banking sector. As Head Europe & Private Banking he was responsible for domestic and international affairs of Swiss Wealth Management namely in the regulatory and legal field, such as market access of Swiss banks in and outside Europe. Since 1st April 2023 he continues to serve the SBA, now in a senior advisor role.

Roberto Battegay is a Swiss attorney at law. During his career at UBS he also acted for several years as a speaker in the Executive MBL-Program of the HSG.
